Hello ya’ll. It’s been awhile since I posted so I guess I’m a bit overdue. I guess we’ll start with one of my purchases from the recent Amazon Prime day. I picked up a Sodastream Fizzi. They had a pretty good deal going on for Prime day and I had already been considering getting one. I’ve been “backsliding” and drinking a lot of pop again. It started with Fresca being back in stock and being a treat for on the weekends to becoming much more than that. Honestly, I’m surprised how much water I’ve been drinking since I’ve gotten it. Even without the flavor drops the package I got came with, I’ve been drinking so much bubbly water. It took me a few bottles to figure out how to actually use it properly. The instructions were, well, barely instructions. I figured it out after a couple bottles and have been enjoying it since. It came with a little vial of Lime flavoring, and then some blackberry flavoring. They’re not too bad, but my bother mentioned a couple of other flavorings that he got from Aldi so I’m going to check those out. In the meantime wish me luck in my journey to be soda less. And I do mean less, and not free because Fresca is delicious.
I’m a little behind on things that have been going on so I guess I’ll try to start with Covid-19 update.Continue reading “My Niece, Cottage Pie, and 2nd Covid shot”
As I sit here and type this I look outside and it’s so rainy outside it almost reminds me of spring. However, it’s not spring, and we’re about to go into winter. Which reminds me that I hate winter. Not so much because I hate snow, but because I hate how people drive here like they’ve never seen snow before. There seems to be no middle ground ever when it comes to winter drivers around here. But also, i hate the snow. That being said, in my opinion, there’s three basic categories of winter drivers in Michigan.
Well that wraps up a vacation for 2017. I’ll do my best to post a decent write up on how the vacation went. I’ll separate it out by each day and what we did. Continue reading “Vacation Week 2017!”
Firstly, this is going to be a cross post on both my blogs because I’m too lazy to do two seperate posts, and the top is pretty important. And, I’m probably going to combine both soon anyways.

Secondly, I guess I’d first like to start this post off by reminding all my friends, family, gamer friends, work friends, and anybody else that’s in between. Use a virus scanner. Don’t be a tart tart and think that you’re above getting hacked, or phished, or keystroke grabbed. In the past 2 days, SEVEN of you have had your twitter accounts hacked, and then inadvertently tried to send me links to bad things. Either spend the money and buy a reputable Internet Security suite such as my favorite, and my suite of choice, [Kaspersky Internet Security], or any of the other suites like [BitDefender Total Security], [Norton], [McAfee], or if your on a really tight budget you can go for a free suite like [ZoneAlarm], or for JUST a free virus scanner [AVG Free]. Just save yourself the trouble, and get Kaspersky though. I’ve been using it for years now, and haven’t had any problems. It runs smoothly in the background, with minimal fuss, and doesn’t hog a bunch of resources like McAfee and Norton. Also, don’t click on links from PM’s (Private Message) in Twitter, or anywhere for that matter, that seem strange or out of place. Especially with no protection on your PC or Mac. Ok. Anyways… Moving on.

More after the jump!
So Mikayla got that today. She went to IWU (Indiana Wesyleyan University) which is one of several colleges for the church she goes to. It’s a program that provides some scholarship monies for kids who place in the talent program. Out of several hundred kids that applied and performed for singing, Mikayla took 2nd place. I can’t wait to see her when she gets back. I’m so proud of her, and I’m excited that she’s getting some reward for all the pushing that I have given her. Not just me, but her mom too. We’ve both encouraged her to sing because she loves it so much, and she’s good at it. Anyways, that’s enough bragging for now.
So, i’ve been in a pretty wretched mood all day. Just been one of those days, know what i mean? So i guess i will blog about last week, and other stuff i guess.
So I guess we’ll start with all the blog drama that I got included on. Meh. Anybody who knows me, knows that i care little for engaging in it. So moving on.
On April 23, 2001 one of the most amazing, emotional, and important events in my life occurred, I was about to have a baby. I was scared. I was worried. I was nervous. As I stood in the operating room I wondered if I would be able to handle the responsibilities that were headed my way. I had serious questions. I wondered if I would be able to make the right decisions. I wondered if I was qualified to help mold and shape somebody. I had questions that I thought were major concerns then (but really are silly lol). What if i dropped her. What if i rolled over her. What if she fell off the bed. What if i pushed her too hard on the swing. Then the doctor handed me a pair of surgical scissors, and I cut the cord and then subsequently held the most wonderful bundle of joy ever. As I stared into her eyes, I stopped worrying. The fears subsided for the moment. The most beautiful baby girl stared at me wide eyed and with wonder. It would be ok.
So I haven’t posted much in here lately but i figured since I’m watching “One More Episode” of Lost, I’d post something up in here.
Today was quite a fun day of running around and doing things.
It all started out with having some waffles for breakfast. I haven’t had waffles in forever, but we picked some up from the store last night before coming home. Man, I was glad we did. They were delicious. After we got all showered and cleaned up Ru came over and we headed out to begin our journey.
