I guess starting off with good news, I’m starting season 8 of Midsomer Murders as I write this. I really enjoy this show. They swapped out the main DS — Troy, for a new DS — Daniel Scott. I really didn’t like him at first because I didn’t like the way that he was coming across. But he’s been starting to grow on me, as my friend told me he would. It’s a little weird, and maybe I mentioned this before but the seasons are weird. There’s only like 5 episodes per season but each episode is like 1.5+ hours long. I already know at some point the main star is getting swapped out and that’s kind of a bummer because I really like him. But I like the show well enough to continue on and i’ll see if I like the new guy as much.Continue reading “Feeling down”
Well its the weekend. So it’s time to go out and party and do all the things right? Nope. It’s Covid times, it’s snowing, and I don’t have car. So we staying in. Here’s what we got going this weekend.Continue reading “Hey! It’s the weekend!”
So these two girls approached the car after an apparently fun night at Billy’s. The first girl gets in the front, and the second girl just kinda stands at the back door. As you can see from the video, they were so drunk they couldn’t see the back door.
Being a Rideshare driver is a lot of fun. I get to meet new people every single day. Every single hour. I get to hear different stories, and outlooks on life. I get to sometimes have deep discussions about things. I also get to see some crazy things with working the night shifts on the weekends. Last Friday night was no exception.Continue reading “Late Night Things caught on Video”
So, i’ve been putting off making a blog post for awhile and next thing i know its been forever since I’ve made a post.
So whats new? I bought a new(ish) car last month. The purple beast was
just getting to dilapidated to drive anymore. So i traded it in and upgraded to a 2007 Chrysler PT Cruiser. Its not terribly fancy or nothing. But the CD player, and AUX input both work so I can play my cd’s and my MP3’s while i drive and actually feel safe on the road for once. It took awhile to get used to not driving a stick shift. I kept on trying to grab the transmission stick and trying to shift. Even still every once in awhile i’ll grab for it and try to shift gears lol. I took a trip to Midland, MI a couple fridays ago. It handled so nicely for the drive.
What else is new. I finally finished my trek (SWIDT! HAHAH) through Star Trek The Next Generation. I watched all 7 seasons now. So now that I concluded TNG, i’ve gotten through Star Trek Enterprise, Star Trek Voyager, and Star Trek Deep Space Nine. I still think that TNG was probably my most favorite series. As I’m typing this now I’m also watching “Chuck“. I had already seem most of the series, but never got around to finishing it. So, since apparently “Smallville” isn’t available to stream on Netflix as that was going to be the next series I watched. So. Help me out! What should I watch next? Theirs only a few more episodes of Chuck, so that will go by quickly.
Christmas was a bit interesting this year. The plan was to go to my parents this year. That, however, didn’t happen. Dad ended up getting sick with a stomach issue that kept him in the hospital for several days. Thankfully he’s ok now. We were all able to get together for our annual Christmas gathering at St Anns. It was pleasant as always getting to see most of the family. Of course, there were plenty of rounds of Spoons to be had. This year I took several videos of them and posted them on Vine. You can view Round One Here, and you can view Round Two Here on my Vine.
Anyways, its time for me to go to bed. I’m really gonna try to make more posts, as sometimes posting this stuff really helps me relax emotionally.
Well here we are. Me… typing in this blog. You… Reading it minutes, moments, hours, or maybe days later. You and me. Hi. Lets recap the week!
Welp, I’ve gotten my car mostly fixed now at this point. It still needs a good tune up, and is going to need springs and struts in the summer, but I should be able to drive this winter now without being in fear of not being able to control my vehicle. Thanks to a friend of a friend, I’ve gotten the work done, at a pretty good price.
Interesting week at work. Quite a difference comparing the week before and this past week. Wasn’t quite ready for the pace change. I really hate snow and winter in general, but man we could use some snow! Last few weeks I’ve been training somebody, and I’m pretty pleased with his progress. I think he will be a fine addition to the family.
So I finially broke down, and put CM7 back on my phone. I couldn’t stand the stock OS anymore. It unfortunately means if somebody sends me a group message i’ll have to ask them to resend it to me. Sucks, but I was having too many problems with my phone otherwise. And by problems I mean it was running super slow. I’m due for an upgrade in March. I, for a short moment, actually debated on getting an iPhone 5. But the screen is terribly small. I think its a great phone and all, but I just love Android too much. And the customizations that it offers. Like… being able to put a completely different version of the OS that’s been streamlined to remove all the excess bloatware.
Anyways. Tomorrow is Monday, and Mondays always suck because its an all day beast.
