It’s been awhile…

So its been a bit since I’ve posted on here.  Mostly because I got back into the habbit of posting stuff privately again.

It’s been an interesting few weeks.  This week was really emotional for me at work with the shooting earlier this week, or last week, I don’t even remember now.  It all blends in.  Its not that it was any more tragic then some of the other shootings in recent months, ie. the joker one, etc.  But it was kids.  In a school.  Where they are supposed to be safe.  And I think the saddest part of it all, is so many people are arguing about side issues and political agendas, and talking about the shooter.  Instead of talking about the victims, or the victims families or the people affected by the whole tragedy.  I actually had a breakdown at work of sobbing.  Just hurts my heart.

Anyways, moving on.  Its Christmas weekend, and let me tell you.  I almost don’t know what to do with THREE days off in a row.  It’s going to be very relaxing for sure.  I have a couple projects I want to get done around the house but that shouldn’t take too much time.  My parents are coming over on Tuesday to have dinner with us, so that will be nice.  Mikayla has been here since Friday night.

Speaking of Friday night, that was an adventure in of itself.  She was at a friends house rather than at home.  So after she gave me the address, I looked it up on the GPS on my phone, and it gave me this crazy way to get there.  (So I thought anyways.)  I knew that the street her friend on was right near her house so I figured i’d just go that way, and then take the street all the way there.  Well little did I know that, that certain street happened to be super long, and actually dead ended at one point.  Needless to say, of COURSE my GPS started being wonky after I got lost.  Finally, an hour later, and after hitting the BIGGEST pot hole on the BUMPIEST dirt road, and my car looking like I took it two tracking, I finally reached her and picked her up.  What an adventure!!! Next time I think i’ll just trust the GPS a bit more than trying to make my own way.

Anyways, I think that’s all for now. TTFN!
