The opening scene of this episode is very reminiscent of the beginning of the show when the King, and Cersei came to Winterfell and Arya was trying to watch the procession.
The face on Daenerys was amazing, when her dragons are flying over her as they proceed into Winterfell. The pomp that starts to come over her is great.
Umber boy. He’s the one killed later in the episode and hung up on the wall. I didn’t quite catch that the first time around.
Does Tyrion ACTUALLY believe that Cersei is going to send their army? He doesn’t actually seem quite convinces as he’s telling the room. Very subtle. Also, the back and forth between Sansa and Dany is great.
Crossbow that Qyburn gives Ser Bronn is the same one that Tyrion uses on their father.
The face on Cersei after Euron leaves their little tryst. You almost feel sorry for her.
Yara Greyjoy headbutting Theon was amazing. I knew she was going to do something.
Jon Snow “You’ve completely ruined horses for me.” Also why doesn’t he realize that only Targaryen can ride dragons?
Sandor Clegane’s face when he’s talking to Arya. I swear he almost smiles at her. I think he’s fond of her and glad she’s still alive.
Gendry and Arya sitting in a tree… These two look cute going back and forth. I hope to see them get together and stay alive.
The weapon she drew? Club with a detachable dragon glass head?
Samwell Tarly finding out his father was dead, and even worse, his brother. Heartbreaking. Also, what was he about to do before running into Brann?
Jon Snow finding out that he’s a Targaryen scene was great. Although there’s some definite bitterness in Samwell’s actions. It will be interesting to see how this plays out since he’s been such a huge supporter of Jon Snow.
That boy stabbed to the wall was creepy. When he started screaming it was even worse. Also why does that kind of look like a Targaryen sigil?
The look between Brann and Jamie as the episode ends looks amazing. It’s gonna be interesting to see if Brann goes all angry on him for causing him to be paralyzed, or sticks with the Yoda Brann, and is all like, we don’t have time for this.
Over all this was a good episode. A TON of reunions between characters that hadn’t seen each other in quite some time. Seeing Jon ride around on the dragon was awesome.
