He went to get out of the car, and you won’t believe what happened next!

Do you like my “clickbait” article title?  I think it’s pretty amazing lol.

Things have been pretty quiet on the Uber / Lyft end lately.  I had those first few stories, and then I’ve had some pretty nice people since then.  Well mostly.  The thing I notice the most is how crappy a bunch of people can be when they drink (too much).  It amazes me.  It amazes me how badly people treat each other after they’ve become drunk.  The number of mean people that I’ve picked up is quite surprising to be honest.  I picked up a group of people from downtown last weekend, and they were fighting the entire ride home(s).  It was a couple and their 3rd wheel friend.  The third wheel friend decided it would be funny if he hung his head out the front window and pretended like he was going to puke “any second”.  This is, of course, while the three of them are still arguing back and forth.  We finally get to the 3rd wheel friends house first and about 3 minutes before we get there he whips his head into the car and gives me a Rick Flair chest slap and exclaims loudly “HA! YOU THOUGHT I WAS GUNNA PUKE”.  Apparently he was pretending the entire time because he thought he was being funny.  (Hint.  Not funny).  So then it’s just the couple in the car.  Now his buddy is gone so all of his attention is now on his girlfriend who he’s decided to rag on the rest of the ride.  At one point he was being a jerk to her that she was starting to cry, and he told me to drop her off at Taco Bell.  I couldn’t believe it.  I politely, but sternly informed him that I wouldn’t be dropping random girls off at random taco bells, but if he would like me to drop him off somewhere else I would be more than happy to.  That pretty much shut him up the rest of the ride, and her and I had a nice conversation.

I guess the moral to the story is… man.  Think about how much your drinking.  I’m not one to be somebody’s mama or daddy and tell other people the rules they should follow in their life, but the last two weekends really kinda got to me about how people were treating each other.  I guess it’s probably more the state of the world today than just the drinking aspect, but it sure does get amplified.

Anyways, what else is new?  I have a bit more time on my hands these days while I’ve been Ubering and so I’ve finally been able to get my computer(s) set back up to be able to DJ over on SubSpace Radio.  Getting the computer setup was the easy part.  Importing all my music took quite a bit of time, but getting the request page setup was the tricky part.  It’s got to communicate with two different computers as well as the people on the web.  I also wanted to customize it a bit.  You can check it out on my site at the top where it says “Requests (If On Air)“.

Anyways, I’m sure you’re wondering when we’re going to get to the part of the click bait title.  So tonight was pretty busy it seemed for a Wednesday night.  Well steady anyways.  So I’m out in Wyoming in the area where that poor gas station attendant got killed earlier this week.  Here’s a link to the article if you want to see it.  I pick up this guy who needed smokes and some snacks so he had it set for me to bring him to the Gas Station, and then bring him back home.  We go there and he’s telling me about the lady because he apparently knew her as he also worked at a gas station.  We talk about other stuff, and then I pull back up at his house we say goodbye and as he gets out of the car, he literally drops a fart right there in my door and runs off to his house.  I couldn’t decide if I was more appalled, grossed out, or amused.

Anyways, I’m off to bed.  I’m still trying to figure out a good domain name for some sort of “Stories from the Road” website where drivers can leave their stories for people to read.
